Professor Dr. Nibaldo C. Inestrosa, is currently the Director of a Basal Center of Excellence in Science and Technology from the Chilean Government (CONICYT), particularly, in the Centre for Aging and Regeneration (CARE), he is Full Professor from the Catholic University of Chile, at the Faculty of Biological Sciences, where he run the Molecular Neurobiology Laboratory. In 2008, he was awarded the National Award in Natural Sciences for a life-time achievement in Science. Dr. Inestrosa, has been interested in the Chemical Synaptic Neurotransmission, since the time he was trained by Professor J. V. Luco, on the trophic function of neurons. After obtaining his PhD in Cell Biology, he carried out postdoctoral training at the Neuroscience Division of the University of California San Francisco, working with Zach W. Hall and Louis F. Reichardt. Initially he worked on the interaction of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) to the synaptic basal lamina of the NMJ and first purified the mammalian brain enzyme, eventually he moves to study the interaction between AChE and the amyloid-beta peptide of the Alzheimer brain. In 2000 he proposed that the canonical Wnt signaling function was loss in Alzheimer"s disease, and eventually he established that the Wnt signaling pathway plays a key role in the regulation and differentiation of the pre- and postsynaptic regions of chemical synapses. More recently, he expanded his interests into the relationship between Wnt signaling and learning and memory, as well as in the interation of the Metabolic Syndrome and Cognition. Finally, in a more biotechnological vein he identified natural products that improve cognition and may be useful for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

Sherronda Jamerson, obtained a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2012 from City University College in Seattle, WA, and became certified as a Chemical Dependency Professional in 2007. Her experiences include developing, implementing, and presenting EDI trainings to associations of healthcare professionals, healthcare providers, schools, and community-based organizations. She has also presented at state and national behavioral health conferences on the topics of DEI and Healthcare Equity. She presents with confidence and passion

Marie Eyring founded her fi rst marketing company at the age of 17 in 2020. In 2022, she moved to Silicon Valley to connect with leaders in the startup industry and secured her fi rst international client at The New York City Tech Day, America’s largest tech event. In 2023, she moved to Dubai to deepen her knowledge in neurotechnology. At Charité University Medicine Berlin, she worked on VR and tDCS therapies for PTSD and depression and analyzed COVID-19 data to improve crisis care. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Artifi cial Intelligence at IU Internationale Hochschule and did a specialization course in Neuroscience and Neuroimaging at Johns Hopkins University. She has also participated in the BCI & Neurotechnology Spring School and the BR41N.IO Brain-Computer Interface Hackathon.

Dr.RajendraD. Badgaiyan, MD, is a psychiatrist and cognitive neuroscientist. He is Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Richmond University Medical Center, and Professor of Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He received formal training in psychiatry, psychology, cognitive neuroscience, molecular imaging, and neuroimaging. He was awarded the prestigious BK Anand National Research Prize in India and Solomon Award of Harvard Medical School. His research is focused on the study of neural and neurochemical mechanisms that control human brain functions. He developed the single scan dynamic molecular imaging technique (SDMIT) to detect, map, and measure neurotransmitters released acutely in the human brain during task performance. This technique is now used in laboratories all over the world. Using this technique, he studies dopaminergic control of human cognition and behavior. He is also interested in learning the nature of dysregulated dopamine neurotransmission in psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions. His research is funded by NIMH, NINDS, VA, and various foundations. Previously he served on the faculty of Harvard Medical School, SUNY Buffalo and University of Minnesota. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Hector R. Diaz Aguila, received his Master of Sciences in Emergency Medicine from Cuban Ministry of Health, Havana, Cuba in 2004. He has been professor in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Villa Clara Institute of Medical Sciences, Santa Clara, Cuba, since January 2001.
